The Duraflex Diving Equipment

The diving equipment made by the Duraflex International Corporation has been proven to be the best equipment found anywhere in the world. This equipment is used almost exclusively for all diving activities for it offers the best performance for divers at any age and competitive level. All of the equipment offered by Duraflex is made with the safety of the diver in mind. Such an approach not only protects the performer but also prevents lawsuits, which are so prevalent in the country today. Duraflex has gone through great lengths to stress "safety awareness" in their attempt to provide the best equipment possible for those associated with the activity.

Duraflex started in the late 1950's almost by accident when Ray Rude, an aeronautical engineer, used a section of an aluminum airplane wing as a diving board in substitute for a wooden diving board that had not dried after being painted by a friend for a diving exhibition. Its performance was so successful that Mister Rude decided to make the board along with diving stands for recreational and competitive purposes. In doing so, he replaced the "Buck" board, which was the first aluminum diving board used in competition world wide.
