The Durafirm One-Meter and Three-Meter Diving Stands
A top performance from a diving board requires that the board
be mounted on a solid workable diving stand with simple
adjustments of the fulcrum. Such a stand also should meet all
the safety requirements involving the level of the board and
placement of railings, which give the divers the freedom to
move about the board when performing. All of this is found in
the "Durafirm" stand for it is not only rated as the best
stand made, which comes in various models, but is also easy to
assemble and install on new or old decks.

This modern designed stand offers several features not found
in other diving stands:
- The stand can be installed without tearing up an old deck by
drilling holes in the deck and placing inserts in the holes,
which are tapped in. The board is then set in place and firmly
installed with bronze bolts that are screwed into the inserts.
- Most other stands have a large pipe inserted into the deck
surface and when these are removed by either digging them out
or cutting them off at the deck level, the Durafirm stand
straddles that area which simplifies its installation and
avoids any further digging up of the deck.
- The diving board can be lifted upward and tilted back on the
stands hinges, which offers more deck space and gives
temporary storage.
- The stand can be removed from the deck if necessary by simply
removing the bolts from the inserts after taking off the
board.
- Double guardrails are offered to prevent injury to the diver
thus avoiding any legal suits.
- Simple adjustments can be made to level the board at its
proper height.
- Parts that may wear out after constant use of the stand can be
easily replaced.
- Instructions for the care and maintenance of the stand to make
it long lasting and give continued top performance area
available through the company or any Duraflex dealer.
- A template and instructions on how to properly install the
stand accompany the delivery of all new stands.
- Easy access to Hobie's Diving Academy is available if problems
occur concerning the diving equipment.
